Help me with this table!
Can this be done with out making it unstable? I have this makeshift table I want to add draws. I want to cut out a 15" section in the middle on each side, put in 2 supports that hold rollers for the draws.
The trim on the table has 1 screw on each side, so when I cut the 15" section there will be 12" on both sides and still have the screw.
I'm doing this because our apartment lacks space and we need a spot for pencils pens and crayons.
Its makeshift because the top is from a broken dining table and the legs from a broken coffee table.

That's do-able. I would glue &screw runners to the apron where you have drawn green lines. Instead of metal drawer glides you could screw strips to the runners that slide in grooves in the drawer side. It would be handy to have the drawer slide out from either side.
