Noisy Rocking Recliner

My wife's rocking leather recliner emits multiple "clicks" from its wooden rocking components. Is there some substance that I can apply to the under works to stop or at least lessen the incessant clicks?

Can you pinpoint the exact location? I don't think that a spray would help a click but if you want to take a chance, you could try some white grease. That's available in a spray. Don't waste your time with WD40.

Can't exactly pinpoint the problem areas. Should I simply ask for white grease spray or a particular brand? Thank you.

Why don't you flip the chair upside down & take a look at it? Then decide if the grease might work.

Okay, I flip the rocker over and have a look. How do I determine if grease will work?

Try to determine if the clicking is caused by 2 pieces of metal hitting each other. If one was bent for some reason, it may have to be put back in place or replaced completely. In that case, grease may not help. Another possibility is that something could be digging into the wood. Look around, you'll find it.
