Plugging gap between drywall and floor

In an effort to increase the mice-proofing of my home, I have a feeling I have found a good culprit for their highway in. Behind my stove, and around the corner behind one of these rotating "lazy-susan" type of cabinets there is about a 1-2" gap between the bottom of the drywall and the floor. I have yet to determine if there are wood studs that I can screw 2x4s into, but it will be impossible to get in and around that corner with that strategy. Suggestions?
