Sofa Sleeper Wood Frame Needs Repair

Hello,

I need to fix part of the frame for our sofa sleeper. The part of the wood frame that connects to the metal bed frame came out of the staples.
Is using wood glue and wood screws to resecure it sufficient or should I brace it with something?

Any help would be great

Thanks

Oh yea, pull those staples out, glue and screw with some 2" wood screws, better than new!

Thanks!
My "fix" was putting a book under it to prop it up, but we're moving soon so it's about time I fixed it.

You can also use a steel angle bracket in the corner for more support. Most home centers sell a variety of them and they are pretty cheap.
