My nightstand drawer broke. Can I fix it?

The drawer had plastic guide rails, and I made the mistake of putting too many books in the drawer that were too heavy, and broke the guide rails.
Is there any way for me to fix this?

If you had a table saw you could probably just make new ones out of wood.

Search online for "drawer slide". There are many versions to choose from so you can decide if you want to stay with the style you have now or if you want something with bearings that slides easier.

Dan's suggestion is a good one. Metal drawer slides need 1/2 in. clearance between the side of the drawer and the inside of the cabinet.
