Marks left by spacers between glass and furniture

Several years ago I had glass tops made for nine pieces of furniture and the glass cutter supplied me with spacers. I no longer like the look of the glass, but the spacers have left marks and residue. I saw an old thread that said that the marks will fade after a month, but it has been over a year, plus some of the marks are raised. It is almost as if they melted into the finish of the wood. I am heartsick because I paid over ten thousand dollars for this furniture!
I have attached two pictures, one with a flat mark and another with raised residue where the spacer was.

I hope someone can help me!

If it's raised, you might be able to remove it with a solvent like mineral spirits with the idea it's plastic residue left behind. I would test an inconspicuous area first to make sure the solvent doesn't harm the finish.
