Vanity door style and hinges

I am in the process of building new shaker style cabinet doors for my bathroom vanity, the old ones are pretty beat.
The vanity is Face Frame and currently use the hinge in the upper photo below, I would assume these are called partial overlay style doors, the doors are routed at the hinge and at the other side of the door where it meets the frame of the vanity.
There is no option besides using surface mount hinges. I was thinking of going with the hinges in the second photo to change the doors to full overlay to eliminate having to route the edges to fit the hinge and the frame of the vanity, and to give a little adjustability to make them fit properly.
Are the lower style hinges the best option for this? Are there better options?
Thanks.

Yes, if you are building new doors, that is a good option.
