Wood Species?

Can anyone tell me what wood species this might be? I don't think i've ever seen pine in that dark of a color, so maybe oak or maple?

I forgot about poplar. I've never seen in dark like walnut, though. I think this is a commercial restaurant table, so i'd be really surprised if it was anything really good.
