I want to refinish a coffee table that has a nail polish remover spill. I beleive the table top is veneer. Can I use any strpper on it or is there a certain product I should look for?
The table is a large oval with a raised band (lip) around it.
Hopefully that gives you an idea of what I have.
Thanks for any help.

In the final analysis, veneer is wood - treat it as such. In other words, what ever paint/varnish remover you prefer is the one to go with. The only caution would be when sanding after you clean it up and before you stain/finish. Some veneers are VERY thin...go easy.
