Stripping Factory Stained Wood Cabinets
#1
I am trying to strip some dark stained wood cabinets in my kitchen. They are beautiful I just don't care for the dark color. I am assuming the stain was put on in the factory, I can sand it off, but do not want to have to sand every cabinet if there is an easier method, please let me know.
Thanks, Lacey

Most factories (and many professionals outside of factories) use an "NGR" stain, which is alcohol based nad can be difficult to remove.
Your best bet is a 2 part bleach - look for it by that description. The mfg. doesn't matter. It will ighten the wood, but you still may have some sanding in store as it may not get it as light as you want.
