Marks on Dining room table
Does anyone know how to get rid of white cloudy marks on tables-caused by putting something hot down on the table. If it is something that's time consuming and extensive I will just use a tablecloth.

How about 15-20 minutes?
Make a paste of baking soda and water. Use a damp sponge to rub this mixture over the cloudy marks until they dissappear.
Use Turtle Wax Polishing Compound and Scratch Remover (from an automotive store) to restore an even sheen to the entire top. Follow the directions on the can.
