Damage to Wood Surface

Help! Someone placed a paper towel with cotton balls saturated in fingernail polish remover on top of my coffee table. There are now two small spots (approx. dime-to-nickel sized) where the finish has come off. There also three spots that I can best describe as cloudy or hazy rings.

How can I repair the table? It is an Ethan Allen table (i.e., not cheap), so I do not want to mess it up further. Is it best to have an expert repair it?

Thanks for your help!

Although this can be repaired at home, you may want to consult a refinisher. Take a closeup picture of the damaged top and get prices. If you odn't like what you hear, come on back and I'll go through the drill of how to repair it.
