Refinishing
I am refinishing a dining room set which ios over 100 years old, what can I use on the wood to moisturize it before putting the stain and then the varathane finish. Will Linseed oil do it the wood is very dry probably compounded by the use of Bleach to remove old stain.

Wood that is no longer growing in the ground is supposed to be dry.
"Moisturizing" either wood (or a finish) is a tall tale told to sell various unnecessary products.
Stain and finish following the manufacturers directions.
Anything you put on the wood to "moisturize" it will interfere with both the staining and finishing of the piece.
