The garage door only goes down part way then goes back up. How do I fix it?

I just bought my first house and close Oct 20th. My projects get to be the Garage and office. What I would like from you guys is some pictures of garages. I love working on my sport car as a hobbie and looking for some ideas how to arange my 2 port garage area. I will be using alot of tools and a few benches.
