Here is what it looks like! I will have it all closed in by the weekend and be doing my slab the following weekend. I will be going with fibermesh concrete. I will also apply a sealer after it has cured.
Whatcha think?

Pretty Good!
Captain John,
Looking pretty sharp! Got any skylights going in?
Nice touch with the scissor trusses but I guess you've got alot of metal to hang the garage door opener or are we thinking of a side hinged garage doors?
Nice Job!!

Doug, nope... no skylights. I thought of it, but naaaaah. The steel I-Beams you see are for trolleys. I plan on lifting engines, boats, snowmobiles and airplanes! It will also give me more efficient stowage of the overhead door. It will suck right up tight to the loft area above the steel beams. I have a single 8' x 16' door slated for the front.
Klute, I wish you were here! I really could have used the help lifting those 5/8" sheets of plywood onto the roof!!
It is really exciting!

Nice Garage!
Captain_John,
I really like the garage. I used to be a partner in auto repair and was always working on something at home. The I-beams would have been great versus the engine lift. The garage should be your "home away from home". All you need now is cable TV, heat, phone and refrigerator!
Great Job! Keep us updated. The link to a picture works great since someone screwed it up to post pictures.

I didn't say I was gonna help!
Just wanted to be there! Actually have helped build several garages and out buildings. Thes projects are almost perfect in size and duration.
I hope you have it ready by winter for all of your toys!

I actually plan on installing heat, cable, telephone, internet and air conditioning! Once the garage is "serviceable" I will begin construction on my airplane!
Klute, heavy onlooking would be OK with me! At least there would be someone there to keep me company besides my dog! My wife is good for about 10 minutes each 3 hours or so.
I should be heated by the winter. I gotta be. The sled needs to be prepped!
