Over the years I have occasionally had problems with my garage door opening when it's not supposed to. After moving in 6 years ago, I had to reprogram it several times to get a code that kept it down--most of the time. It will not do this for months at a time, then I get it happening several times in a week. This is a Stanley opener installed about 1988 or 89.

Any suggestions about controlling this--other than getting a new opener?

Also, I lost the manual for it--I couldn't find garage doors at www.stanleyworks.com. Is there some other website or address where I could get one?
