I need help with adjusting garage door extension springs. I recently replaced both on a single door opening. However, at times the door jambs when being opened as it appears to be out of balance. The door worked great before a spring broke and I'm pretty sure I got the exact springs for replacement. I did try retensioning the springs with the hooks attacted to the support by the opener but can't seem to get them balanced - is there some sort of measurement I can do between the 2 springs that will tell me exactly how to adjust them? Thanks for any input on this.
