When you buy a garage door, the instructions are in the package.

Install Man Door?

I'm looking for help on the same thing. We've bought a house, with a 2 car garage, that does not have a side man door for entry. It is a brick face on the outside wall. Does anyone have suggestions (and ballpark costs) on how to punch a door in?

Inherited bad floor

Hey There, I am new to this site and could really use some help. My wife and I bought the house we are living in 5 years ago. We have a detached garage/shop. The people that built the garage were not quality craftsmen. The floor in my garage is so unlevel that the rollup door has about an 1" to 1 1/2" gap on one side. Will self leveling concrete work to fix this problem or is there another way that I can get this straightened out. I really need help. I can do most things but have never really done that much work with concrete.Read More

How to insulate/seal garage door?

I am currently insulating my one car attached garage so I can do projects during the winter and clean our vehicles. I have a 7ft. door I think, it has 4 panels. What do I need to get that to seal so no air leaks around the sides and top. The bottom is ok, it has a rubber seal on it right now and no light/wind seems to come through. I have seen a kit on ebay and at my local lowes store called garage door insulating kit. I never really stopped to look at them b/c at the time I wasn't doing this project. Are they just insulation panels that go onto the door? Any info would be great. ThanksRead More
