Replacing old Garage door

Question

When replacing an old garage door, can I just replace the door itself with out doing the track?..its in great shape, but the door is all rotted....and what do u think about the doors at Homedepot,...any recommendations? Thanks Brian

Yes, in some cases you can use the old frame.
If it is tight, not to badly worn and in reasonable good shape you can use the old frame. You will still get a new frame with your new door. You cannot buy them separate.
Your guarantee however on the new door will be void by using the old frame. Home Depot doors are as good as any others, however if there are two that are pretty much alike, buy the one with the heavier metal, which will cost a little more, but not much. Good Luck
