My garage floor has sunk 3 inches at one front corner without cracking. The driveway has also sunk. What choices do I have? How can I be sure that it will not happen again?

Over how long a period of time did the sinking occur.

You can have garage floors, concrete driveways and sidewalks raised by having a slurry pumped underneath them. There are people that specialize in doing this work and it works very well.

The soil probably moved, settling or it was washed away, allowing the floor and driveway to drop. Whether or not it will occur again is anybodys' guess. But I have seen sidewalks raised that were still up 6-8 years later.
