Best info would be to call a garage door installation company and let themdeal with it. Next best info would be to make sure your life insurance is completely paid up before messing with it yourself.
My old "Souix" brand opener finally gave it up! Actually, the travel assembly (screw type)plastic part broke. How hard is it for a single lady to install a new opener? I am very handy, but sometimes not stronger enough for some jobs or I don't have the right tool to do the job. Thanks for input!
The 6x8 shed has now been lifted (safely) from it's foundation and entire foundation removed. I have 6x8x18" stones (cut flat on top) that I plan to set as cornerstones. I want to attach treated wood to the stones and lay new flooring over that then set the shed back on this and reattach. Am I thinking the correct way? Will I use a masonry bit and what type of screw to attach the joist (I think it's called) to the stone? The reason for the stone is to keep this new wood off the ground as termites had obviously lived there awhile.I'm planning on working on this tomorrow so hope you hear me. THANKS! CMAE
