Exclamation

We just bought this house last fall. We want to put vinyl siding on the whole house. The guy who first owned the house build the garage himself and it shows. He built the garage right off of the cement pad and did not use cinder blocks to build off of so the wood and siding are down close to the ground and have began to deteriorate. What can we do to fix this before we put on the vinyl siding? Do we have to jack up the garage and put cinder blocks in or is there an easier solution? Help!!!

Wrap the bottom 6" of the existing siding with coil that will match the siding, then start your vinyl 2" or 3" of inches above the ground.
