Question

Attached to my old 2 car garage is a dilapidated third car addition, 7' wide amateur door, leaking (rotting) flat roof, missing access door. The original garage is old but in good shape. I'm thinking about tearing off the addition, removing the addition's slab, and recovering some lawn space.

I can tear down the structure myself, but what would break up and haul away cost me for the slab (approx. 8'x 22', 2" deep), and how does this compare to the cost of a new roof, new garage door, and new access door?

Get someone with a backhoe or bobcat. About 45 minutes work, and about $150.00. If you have a load of black dirt there, they will spread it for you also. alot cheaper then rebuilding.
