Question

I have a Sears Craftman garage door opener and Keyless entry pad. It is 1.5 years old. The battery died and I can't reset it with a new code. I know there is a button that does this, but where? Please Help!!!! UPL_shugaa@yahoo.com

I'm not sure if this will help but I installed a genie keyless remote and before the remote will work there is a button on the face of the opener itself that you must press before it will accept any remote. The button on the genie was under the light cover, maybe the sears model is similiar. Hope it helps.

Have you found an answer to your question? I'm in the same situation, and also need to re-program the key pad. Thanks, hcl.

See answer to "garage door remote lost memory". Same answer, except toggle switches are inside keypad housing.
