I have a Craftsman garage door opener that I recently purchased, and am about to install it myself. I understand all the instructions except one. Where the arm attachs to the door, there is a bracket that must be attached. The instructions say to attach the bracket by drilling through the door and threading a bolt from the outside. I don't want to do this (drill all the way through the door) for fear of water and the elements getting in - not to mention ruining the integrity and looks of the door. I have a solid-core fiberglass door, with a metal support running down the middle of the inside of the door. Any suggestions? Am I misunderstanding the instructions? thanks -mike

just had home built 6 months ago , want to organize my garage by putting in shelves and possibly hanginging hooks for bikes. its a two car garage and im going nuts when i see everything in boxdes on the floor but i just dont know where to begin any advise would be appreciated... thanks
