I just purchased a home with a sear garage door opener. It appears one or both of the senors are bad (only one side lights up). I don't have children and was wondering if I could bypass the senors. I can't seem to find just the senors.

You can order just the sensors. The key is order. You can't go into a store and buy them. No, you cannot bypass the sensors. Many have tried, all have failed.

springs on up and over door

I am re-possioning my garage door,I have got to the stage where I need to install the springs, These are very strong and I cannot get them any where near the hooks they attatch to. I know I have put them back correctly as I drew a plan of it, do I need a special tool or someting to stretch thr springs??

I recently purchased a home, and found some sort of white/yellow bug/worm infestation in the centerpost between 2 garage doors. I have a feeling that the post is probably not in good shape inside. The wood gets wet at the bottom of pole. Is the replacement of support post in garage an expensive prospect? thanks to anyone!!
