Cheap Garage Door - Purchase or Build?

We have an OLD garage... More like an old boat house... It's possible to park 1 car in it, but barely wide enough.

It currently has no doors. I am looking to put a door or doors on it, mainly just to be able to lock it up, or at least close it.

I would be perfectly happy with barn style doors with a coat of white paint.

In measuring the opening, it turns out to be a shape that doesn't lend itself very well to simple 4x8 sheets of plywood.

Dimensions are approximately:

9',6" WIDE x 7',8" TALL

Is this close to a normal 1 car garage door width?
Would I be able to just buy a cheap set of doors somewhere for say $50-100 ?

Would love for there to be a simple solution... knee-deep in other projects.

Any solutions/ideas out there?

Even if your labor is free, there is no $100 solution to this problem. The cheapest solution would be to build swing out doors. Material costs could be down at $125 for frame and panel doors, hung and painted. I would estimate 16 hours to build, hang, and paint.

Next would likely be to buy an inexpensive roll-up garage door and install it yourself.

I am sure that others will have some solutions.

Hope this helps.
