Laundry/Utility Tubs
Hello,
I want to install a laundry/utility tub in my garage. The problem is, the only type I can find is those plastic ones at Home Depot or Lowes. I did a Google search for "porcelain laundry tub" and many other combinations but could only find composite material tubs. I think I need porcelain or cast iron enamal because I will be cleaning various tools, paint brushes, etc. and don't think the plastic or composite will stand up to harsh chemicals.
Any advice from your experience with utility tubs would be much appreciated. Got any manufactures or websites?
Thanks,

Look at these but if you are going to use this in the garage, I will say that the plastic and/or composites will hold up just fine. Granted they will start to sow the abuse but for the money and location, you really don't need anything fancy nor something that needs to look perfect.

For the garage the plastic and/or composites sinks would work as good as any thing. If you do need to replace it they are a lot less expensive. They will not dint or chip if you accidentally drop something in it.
A stainless steel sink would most likely last longer and look nicer when it is clean.
Check out the site below for a verity of utility sinks.
