Garage Doors

When I close my garage I have to hit the button again when the door reaches the ground, otherwise it will come back up again. How can I fix this so that the door closes as it should?

Look on the opener motor assembly for adjustment screws. One of them will be a down travel limit adjustment of some kind.

Replace Masonite panel in wood door

I need to replace the 1/4" thick Masonite-like insert in one section of the bottom panel of a wooden door. I hope to use a circular saw to remove the interior molding. Questions: Any recommendation for a replacement material? See any problem with this plan?

Pole Barn truss spacing

I did a search and it sounds like the truss spacing should be eight foot on center. I'm building a 24x24 pole barn with a roof pitch of 4 in 12. Is this spacing correct? I am going to put a metal roof on it. What do I use for perloins? Thanks for the help.
