A Success Story

Last October, I posted a question about building my own overhead garage doors. I built a shed, covered it with T-111 and I wanted to make doors from T-111 that would match. I have never done any work on or with overhead doors before and had no idea what I was getting into! I posted my question(s) and Doug Aleshire responded immediately with suggestions and links. Following these answered my questions and got me going in the right direction. Due to other "projects" of a higher priority, I have finally finished, well almost finished, my door project. I attached the cables to the torsion spring yesterday, preloaded per the manufacturers instructions, and the door opened!
I have been following many threads in this forum and just want to say "Thank You" to all and especially Doug. All of the forums are a wealth of information and I don't believe I could have completed my doors without everyones help.
The actual construction of the doors is rather lenghty and I would not care to post it here. If anyone is interested, feel free to email me at : rwmeyer@snet.net
Thanks again; Bob Meyer
