Garage Door Opener

I just purchased a house with two garage doors with openers and no remote. Both garage door openers are Allister ARD Type II.

There appears to be a minor problem, that the lights in the units stay on. Shouldn't these turn off after a while? There is a jumper between the two units connecting 24V secondaries 1&2. Could this be related? Is there some other reason to connect these units in this manner? They have separate wall switches which operate properly.

Also I need remotes.

Unit 1 has the following numbers: on stickers on the rear of the unit:
A00882
1141652

and a cylinder inside "For Motor Starting":
MEDCO ELECTRA
3535B4A0067A250A2
35F4022BA1 67-76MFD
250VAC 60HZ 3628744

There is no external box on this unit.

Unit 2 has similar numbers, except on the outside rear it is:
A00882
1141658

and the cylinder is identical except after
250VAC 60HZ 36288744.

Also unit 2 has an external box attached to 24V secondary 1,2 and 3. This black box is made by Allister, ADD832 318

Can you tell me which remotes I will need to buy to operate these doors?

Thank you for your help.

gsquared,

You're welcome! I would think first part of the week you should hear something. If you noticed, I added another link for you after my initial posting.

Good Luck!
