HELP! I have water actually seeping through the foundation cracks in my laundry room. Also leaking around an old window that was boarded up - underground window - outside window well has been filled in with cement. Have a sump pump in the laundry room that runs like crazy when it rains. Afraid to seal the laundry room and garage - don't want this water redirecting to the basement, behind the paneling. Especially since the laundry room is right next to the basement. An engineer here at work had this problem and drilled out a small section of the mortar that was leaking - attached a small PVC pipe and attached to a drain. I'm thinking of doing this then sealing the cement block walls in the laundry room & garage. I cannot afford to have the foundation around the house dug up. Besides, the main area of the problem seems to be under the patio - cement block with wood deck on top. I'm a one income, 40+ year old woman that is pretty handy. I would really appreciate some repair advise from you experts! (Note: have new gutters, downspouts and drainage system).

I have an old garage door that is a swing only type it jambs up in bottom right side, and it looks like it got twisted or out of alignment and I have not been able to rejust it. How do you straighten out these old doors so they work properly again. Need help thank you. willy
