Sears garage door opener problem
I have installed a garage opener and nailed it to the ceiling with the proper screws that it comes with. Four weeks later it unscrewed and fell from the ceiling. I have dry wall on the ceiling and walls. How can I attached the garage opener to the ceiling without ever falling again. Please help. Thank you!

Vibration
There is too much vibration and torgue from a opener to screw it to dry wall. You will have to cut out the dry wall and find a your rafters and secure it with a hanger to a rafter. Did they give you any type of hangers?
If not get some angle iron or angle aluminum with holes in it and secure it to the rafters. If not you could find it on the floor someday or worse yet the roof of your car.
Hope this helps.
