9X7 overhead door

What would the rough opening size be for a 9'X7' overhead door?

in gereral the rough opening for an overhead garage door is the same as the door size. reason being is when the door closes it closes up against the opening not within the opening. the casings on the outside of the opening are what keep the air and water from infiltrating.

With pivot hdw. the door fits within the width of the opening and butts against the header.
With jamb/track hdw., the door overlaps the sides.

Insulation Between Trusses

I have a 25' x 40' detached garage that will be used soley as a heated workshop. It has 8' ceilings with trusses supporting the roof. In order to move large sheet goods, long pieces of hardwood, and so that it will not feel too confined, I would like to keep the bottom of the trusses exposed. I live in Wisconsin so we have extreme temperature changes. What can I do to properly insulate the ceiling so that I don't have any moisture or over-heating problems? Thanks!

Broken Torsion spring cable

Tis morning I heard a noise opening the door. When I shut it the door was ****ed. Found one of my torsion spring cable snapped at the eyelet. How do I replace this??
