Question recoverting back to a garage

my husband insists on a garage. We are looking at a property which is a former model and the builder used the garage as his site office. Does anyone have an idea how difficult it would be to reconvert back to a garage? And, would you have a rough idea of cost involved. Appreciate any help, as I have no idea what kind of expense we are talking about here, even the websites selling garage doors don't give prices. Here is a link to a picture of the house in question.

Hi
Look like a 2 garage door
1. first you have to determine with one is going to be the garage.
2. usually the rough opening for the garage is still there.
3. you need to construct a wall to seperate the garage from the house
all must be insulated, drywall and tape, and seal to prevent fumes in the house. Door is needed to access the house from garage.
4. Outside post must be remove to give access to garage.
some post are added after the garage was converted, but must be check to make sure if post are remove the overhang will not fall.
As for price. Depend where your located.
In florida might run you about 5-10K and in California 15-25K???????
I would get 3 estimate from contractor.
Then it your choice.
Good Luck
