Garage door down, clicker inside!!!

There's only one way in, through the main door. No windows, no attic access nothing!!! It's a Craftsman 1/2 hp chain drive. Any ideas on how to trigger the sensor? Help please.
Thanks.

I have had customers that have had the same problem. The way I have opened the door is to get somehting that is called a outside disconnect and measure the hole you have to drill to install it. Then drill the hole in the middle of top section and snake a hanger thru the hole and grab the release cord, with the hanger and pull then open. The disconnect costs around 15-20 dollars and will provide a way in to the garage if the power goes out or the homeowner leaves the remote in the garage . You may want to invest in a keypad as well.

You can also try to grab the release by going over the top section with the hanger but this is much more difficult and fustrating.

Good luck,
