Need advice for 20 foot span for carport.

I'm planning to build a carport -24'X20'. I will be using 6x6 posts, wood trusses-2'oc, 1x4 lathing and a tin roof. The open ends will be the 20' span. My question is: Will LBLs be sufficient to hold this span and if so, how many on each side and what size do I need?
This will be attached to my house on one side and dropped down from my existing roof line.
This will be a gable roof and I do not want a center post. Please advise.

I don't know where you live but in most places you're going to have to get a building permit which will mean some input from the bulding inspector and possibly an architect. You might want to start there.
Regarding your 20' span, even though this is a gable end, 20' is a pretty large span and even LVL's may deflect some under their own weight. If you want to wing it, I would probably go with a triple 14" LVL girder with lots of bolts in it.
