Garage Door Opener Humming
I have a Genie Blue Max garage door opener and it hums when I try to open it but does not open. When I unlock the door and raise it myself and then I push the opener button again, the motor made the normal noises. Then I closed the garage door and re-locked it and the garage door works again. Now it keeps doing it. Can someone help me with this issue?

Check your wire connections on your limit switches. They are located on the rail of the operator. Also check to see if the trolley has stripped gears. Try to help lift the door open when the button is pushed.
