Question Garage Floor

I just recently purchased a place with a pole barn constructed to be a garage. It has bare/ground floor but I'd like to put some type of flooring in it, preferable concrete. Can this be done? If so, is this something I could do myself or would I definitly need to have a professional come out and do this?

You absolutely need to call a professional, who could do it easily. A concrete project this large is definitely not a DIY project.

Having it done professionally would be much faster and ultimately nicer than doing it yourself, and that is definitely what I would do if I could afford the cost. But, mixing and pouring your own concrete a little at a time can cost much less and it is not all that difficult. I did my new shop floor in 4'x5' sections. If you already have a way to haul small loads of sand and gravel or limestone, all you need is a mixer and a few hand tools and someone with a little concrete experience to give you a hand.
