Cut short garage door won't close vertically-Need special hardware??

I cut down a garage door top section. By leaving the top adjustable roller bracket loose I can make the turn... but... the top panel and part of the next panel down do not stay vertical when the door is down. It seems that what I need is a special roller bracket that is spring loaded somehow to push the door away from the track. Is there any such animal? Any other solutions?? Thanks.

not sure what you are describing but if you need more clearance on the top section you can try these. It is the sixth one down on the page top roller carrier

Thanks

I will try it even though I cut door shorter. Actually it looks like the next bracket down on the list may be better.... When you install any of these how do you decide on where to screw the bracket to the door to line it up?
