Genie Safety System

3 year old Genie Safety system recently stopped working. The red and green lights on the modules did not light. I replaced the wiring completely to no avail. Then ordered replacement modules, also to no avail. I even removed the two modules from the base of the door and placed on a work bench closely facing each other. Still no luck. The main unit has a 3-lug terminal with #2 and #3 being used for the Safety modules. Would appreciate any suggestions.

check for voltage (12 volts DC) across the photocell terminals with a multi-meter on the DC scale. If power exist, replace the photocell modules. If no power exist replace the main sequencer board in the operator.

Circuit Board Replacement

Can anyone give me some basic instructions on how to access the Circuit Board on a Genie Pro Max PMX500 IC/B? I have a replacement board but need help accessing the old board.

Not sure whether to remove the side cover, back cover, etc.

Thanks.
