construction costs

I would like to build a 600 sq ft (approx.) detatched garage in the spring and would like to know the most inexpensive way to do it. Would pole construction be cheaper with the cement floor poured after construction or would it be cheaper to frame it on a slab. I just need a general idea of the cost of each before going any further.

You can figure that just about either one will be $10 a sq ft. However if you build the pole type first and pour the concrete later, it will be more expensive, since the concrete guys will have to work around the posts, and this will increase you labor, and not get you as smooth a floor.
I would pour the slab first and go from there.
