Garage Interior lights...LED?

Getting ready to install light fixtures for my new garage. I hadn't given it much thought and just figured I'd go with the standard 4' T8 fixtures you see everywhere.

However, I got to thinking...do they make comparable LED fixtures? I don't see much selection at the big box stores, so if so, where would you get some?

All the LED lights I have seen have been considerably more expensive than traditional fluorescent, halogen/xenon and incandescent. I would use them for under cabinet lights but for general lighting they are quite expensive. If you do want to give it a try here is a LED T8 bulb that is supposedly a direct replacement for the fluorescent. At $70 a bulb it would be an expensive experiment.

I put in VHO fluorescent's in my last garage remodel and I love them. I can wax the car and see every little speck (maybe that's a bad thing). Their power consumption is not as big a concern because they are only on when I'm in there working which is not very often. If I had lights that would be on 24/7 I would more seriously consider something like LED's.
