Automatic garage door won't work

Hello,

I have two automatic garage doors.

One of them is working fine.

The other won't open or close when using the remote OR the wall switch. The lights on the sensors seem to be working fine. The light on the door opener housing turns on and off fine.

Any suggestions?

Is there a "vacation lock" or "away" button on the wall control switch?

It could have been accidentally pressed at some point.....making the door inoperable.

It does have such a switch. However, it's not turned on.

garage door not opening

i'm having the exact same problem, but do not see an "away" or "lock" button on the wall panel. just two buttons...one for each door. did you ever receive an answer or figure out how to repair your door?

Building carport with columns

I plan to build a detached carport 20' Wx21' D on existing concrete driveway. I also will be using custom built trusses. I will be using 2x6's as support beams for the trusses. I would like to use) (7) 8"x10' FRP columns with Tuscan Base & Capital. I have a concern that this will not be supportive enough with high winds. Can someone give me additional pointers for best way to build to protect against long range damage beyond what is posted here? Would placing an insert in columns make them sturdier. Can you brace the columns to trusses? Any help is appreciated!

Garage Door Wobbles in Track when Closed!

Hi, I have a sectional garage door with a 1/2 HP opener. When I push on the closed garage door, the rollers in the center wobble freely in their tracks, and the whole mid section of the door moves. It also does that when I open the door to the garage to the house and close it. It is like the space in the tracks are wider than than the roller. This only happens with the rollers in the middle and not the top and bottom rollers, and does leave a gap where cold air can get in, and possibly rain and snow. What do I do? Thanks, Hasan
