Unhappy

My garage door tilts slightly to one side, so when it's closed there is a gap at the bottom of the door on the opposite side. It's not really noticeable from the street, but from inside it's very apparent. Is there an adjustment I can make to even it up? It's a double wide sectional door.

There are a number of possible causes, and factors. Extension springs, or torsion. Does it change seasonally, do you have an operator, How old is it?

The springs are torsion. I don't know if this is a seasonal problem or not, but the door has only done this in the past month or so. The gap at it's widest (tallest?) is about 1.5 inches, so I didn't think temperature would cause that much of a gap.

Okay, if you are in an area that has frost I believe that it is quite possible that the frost has heaved your floor on one side, given of coarse that the cables are on the drums, and all other hardware appears intact. For the duration of the winter try sliding a piece of pipe insullation inside the open end so that the weatherstrip is in contact with the floor. Good luck
