Pre-hung door entrance on concrete slab

I'm having a floating slab poured in my pole barn for a new workshop. The barn itself is below frost so it will not move. I was wondering about the entrance door though. It's a 36" steel door with an aluminum threshold and will be fastened to the jam all around. Hopefully the slab won't move much but should I set the threshold directly on to the concrete slab? Or should I put an inch or so of expansion material under the door threshold?

Thanks

I put several heavy beads of caulk across the concrete and set the door assembly on top of it. The caulk helps prevent water from seeping underneath and helps glue the threshold down. No provision for expansion or contraction, but I'm in NC where the winters are much more mild so take it with a grain of salt.
