Carport help.

I need to replace all posts on my carport. Problem is whoever built it rested the main beams on the middle of the posts. I attached two photos and hopefully you can see what im dealing with. I'm trying to figure pot how to go about this and get it fixed.

If you are just asking how to replace the posts you'll need to lift and support the beam on either side of the post. You can cut a board a bit longer than the height of the beam bottom to the ground and hammer it in place. As your temporary post approaches vertical it will raise and take the load off the beam. You can also use temporary posts and shim to get to about the right height then drive wedges to raise the beam. Or my favorite, use a post and hydraulic jack as it easily adjusts to varying heights.
