Unhappy

We have a MOM (monomatic) model 700S garage door opener which as of this morning will not run. It is getting power, and when the button is pushed the light blinks like it is going to begin going up or down, but nothing happens. No motor sounds, no movement at all. We disconnected the door from the opener and find it goes up and down ok. Even when it is all the way up and we push the button, nothing happens. Any suggestions on repair or procedure to check unit further? It was installed 10 years ago when we built the home, but we cannot locate any owner's manual on it.
Thanks.

If your opener is 10 years old, it has outlived its life by about 3 years. The circuit board is probably gone. Go buy a new one. Not at all expensive.
