84 sells a lot of garage packs. The actual plans are in most stores. If they're not in your area, try checking web sites for the local lumber yards.

MY 2 cents .
I have never seen a good kit for anything.Check into what you need and get it and grab a hammer and start in the morning , pat urself on the back when its done because (you) did a good job.

question regarding a new roof on my garage

i am getting estimates from local contractors regarding roofing my garage. one of the contractors is suggesting that i have roof vents installed. my question: why do i need roof vents if my garage is not insulated? the garage is an "A" frame design but does not include flooring for the storage or crawl space. in other words, the inside of the garage is open all the way to the top of the garage. thanks.

garage door springs

i installed a new door opener. my problem is with the close side as the opener starts on the downward motion the opener seems to be working ok until it starts to make the turn then the door goes on a freefall up until about 10inches from the floor the arm grabs again and sets the door down ok i called the co and the tech said the springs are too stretched my question can they be tightened or when the door is up can i put a clamp on the springs to make them tighter
