I need to replace my old genie door opener and would like to know if a new genie or chamberlin will work with my existing wood garage door, and also can the new opener be used on a steel sectional when the time comes to replace the old wood door in the near future?

Capping an existing driveway

Here's a situation we run into all the time and I'm wondering how other people deal with it. When a new garage is built over an existing driveway what's the best way to tie the new ramp into the old driveway? Normaly, we cap the existing drive, and cut and break out a(usually) 48" wide channel across the existing, where the new ramp tapers from 4" to nothing. Of course the forty feet of saw cut, breakout, and haul off add to cost of the job. If anyone has a better way to tie the concrete together, I'd be mighty curious.

keyless entry

I have recently moved into a house that has the keyless entry on the garage door. The old owners didn't leave the password for this entry. I would like to know if there is anyway that I can change the password without the old one.
